SOCOTEC drew up a plan of approach for monitoring and then carried out an extensive pre construction survey prior to the work. During the work, vibration measurements, noise measurements and height measurements were carried out in the surrounding area and the tram rails were monitored using measurements of the X-Y-Z coordinates.
Project description
The construction of the largest shopping centre in the Netherlands. Finished in 2020, completely covered and enclosed in 117,000 m² of hypermodern architecture. One of the elements of the construction was building an enormous underground, multistorey car park.
