This begins with thorough soil investigations, including soundings, borings, and laboratory analyses, to accurately map soil conditions. Based on this, specialized foundation advice is provided, for example, for pile foundations. Furthermore, SOCOTEC is expert in the design of excavation pits and sheet pile walls, and they perform detailed stability calculations for excavation pits and temporary structures, among others.
