Ethics form the crux of SOCOTEC’s actions

Compliance with local and international legislation and regulations plays a keep role in the requirements of the SOCOTEC Group. This fundamental principle is essential to guarantee the Group’s integrity and uphold its reputation.

SOCOTEC's dedication to ethics and transparency is reaffirmed by its Code of Ethics, that is binding for all its employees worldwide. This means that each Group company is responsible for implementing and enforcing the Code of Ethics, based on the obligations and particularities of its business operations and location.

Every year, all the employees are sent a message informing them of the existence of the Code of Ethics.

Via a whistleblowing procedure, any employee or natural person of the Group can report any crime, violation or threat to the public interest.

An Ethics Committee is charged with enforcing the Code of Ethics, receiving disclosures of unethical conduct and supervising compliance with the provisions of the anti-corruption laws. It comprises two members:

Jean-Marc Fort, General Manager, SOCOTEC

Ingeborg I. van den Eertwegh-Landsmeer, Head of HR&D, SOCOTEC
