SOCOTEC forms a single platform in the Netherlands and establishes market leadership in testing and inspection within the construction and infrastructure sector.

SOCOTEC is taking an important step forward in the Netherlands with the formation of a unified platform that brings together complementary expertise under one strong brand. As of January 1, 2026, Vermeer Group and the various divisions of Hanselman will be fully integrated into specialized business units under the SOCOTEC banner. This creates a leading player in the field of testing and inspection for the construction and infrastructure sector.

This strategic integration combines the specialized capabilities of established brands in a coherent divisional structure. This creates clarity in the market and consolidates expertise under a single international identity, positioning SOCOTEC as the partner of choice for comprehensive testing and inspection services in the Netherlands. In concrete terms, this means the following as of January 1, 2026:

• Vermeer Group and Hanselman Bouw Risico Monitoring (BRM) are joining forces under the name SOCOTEC Monitoring & Surveying B.V.
• Hanselman Group will continue to provide its specialized services in the field of damage management under the name SOCOTEC Claims & Advisory B.V.

This integration brings together the combined expertise of both organizations on a single platform. For customers, this means access to an even broader network of specialists, improved service, and the innovative strength and stability of the global SOCOTEC organization—all through a single trusted partner.
The new divisions operate from two central locations. The office is located at Utrechtseweg 161 (6862 AH) in Oosterbeek. In addition, a new office has been opened in Groningen at Eemsgolaan 5 (9727 DW). The former Vermeer Group location in Elst has already been closed.

For business relations and administration, it is important to note that Vermeer Groep's Chamber of Commerce number (58805729) will remain unchanged and will be transferred to the new entity SOCOTEC Monitoring & Surveying B.V. The trade names Vermeer Maatvoering and Vermeer Landmeten will therefore be discontinued.

Uniform communication platform To reflect the integrated SOCOTEC platform and streamline communication, all employees of the relevant business units now use email addresses ending in @socotec.com.
The old email addresses will remain functional for a while to ensure seamless continuity for our customers, while all communication will transition to the unified SOCOTEC identity.
