Hanselman Group acquired by international engineering firm SOCOTEC Group

Socotec is active worldwide in 26 countries and has around 11,300 employees. Its head office is in Paris, France. With the acquisition of Hanselman Group, Socotec has taken its first steps on the Dutch market.

For Hanselman Group, the acquisition represents the next step in the area of Risk Management, Mitigation Measures and Claims. It executes our vision and the strategy we have been successfully pursuing for years and is therefore the right, logical step for the future of our wonderful organisation and employees. 

For years to come, our company will continue to operate autonomously under the current management (Bart Verhagen (Financial), Fred van der Zee (Expertise & Inspections) and Robert Hanselman (Construction Risk Management). Edwin Hanselman and Ferry van der Kwaak will for the time being remain involved as advisors for specific projects.
