Acquisition of Inpijn Blokpoel Engineers by the SOCOTEC Group
On 1 January, the Socotec Group acquired a majority interest in Inpijn Blokpoel Ingenieurs. The international SOCOTEC Group has over 11,300 employees and is present in 26 countries.
Acquisition of Inpijn Blokpoel Engineers by the SOCOTEC Group
Socotec’s Dutch branch is now formed by Inpijn Blokpoel Ingenieurs together with Hanselman Group that were acquired by Socotec six months ago. Hanselman Group provides services in the area of amongst other things expert appraisals, structural surveys, risk mitigation and building inspections.
As a result of the acquisition, Inpijn Blokpoel Ingenieurs will be able to significantly expand its range of services in the Netherlands by bundling its forces with the Hanselman Group, but also by making use of the existing network of pan-European experts in the area of geotechnology and monitoring within the Socotec Group in France, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy amongst others.
Inpijn Blokpoel Ingenieurs will continue to operate autonomously, led by the current board and management team. Clients will only notice a difference in that we can be of even better service to them now, both in the Netherlands and abroad.
