SOCOTEC has the following equipment at its disposal to carry out CPTs:

- Compact lightweight system: 1
- Nordmeyer GTR 830 dynamic probing crawler rig: 1
- Nordmeyer LMSR-VK dynamic probing compact lightweight rig: 1
This clip shows how in 2011, a SOCOTEC caterpillar truck is positioned on the vegetated inner slope of a partitioned flood defence in Heerjansdam in order to carry out CPTs for a house to be constructed.

Soil investigation on the water
SOCOTEC an carry out soil investigations for you on inland waterways. We use third-party pontoons for this. We install the CPT or drilling equipment required for the project on the pontoons.
This clip shows how a SOCOTEC caterpillar truck is hoisted onto a pontoon so it can carry out CPTs for the crane track of a new gantry crane in Ravestein B.V.’s port in Deest.
